This toy has great durability if the ropes aren't too tight. The mat will bounce, but not enough for the figures to bounce off. I bought more elastic for it to be more bouncy and they still dont bounce off. The ring is kind of small compared to the figures. It is still a fun toy though.

Be advised that the ring ropes will not look like the photos here.

The ropes have to be threaded through the "turnbuckles" then tied in a knot to complete the ring.

So, you'll have three big ugly knots in the ropes. There is no way to hide them. All you can do is maybe slide them close to the "turnbuckles".

This toy made my son very happy. Which in turn made me happy. He has played w/ this for long stretches. The walls are easy to knock down. He (who is 8) has no problem playing with it. My newphew who is 2, knocks the walls down easily. (toy not made for his age, but he likes to play too).

This toy rocks I got it for christmas it doesn't bounce like the comercials say but it bounces great. I miss it I triped over it and busted the turnbucle. I highly recomend them. If you need to occupy your kids for a while this is the toy. Only one problem .......... you bring a friend to your house to play with it and they wont leave because they love it.

If your children (or maybe you adults) are looking for a wrestling ring to play with their action figures in, this is not the best one to buy. The ring itself is pretty thick and durable. The turnbuckles will break if you tie the ropes too tight. Another problem is that the ring is smaller than other rings and isn't proportional with normal 6 inch action figures.

The gimmick for the playset is that the ring mat was supposed to bounce when your action figures hit it. This is not the case with this set. The mat does move up and down, but has barely any bounce to it at all. Most action figures just weigh too much for any bounce to occur.

There are much better playsets out there. This one is too small and a takes a bit more time to assembly with less payoff. The fact that it is one of the more durable ring sets is what gives this one three stars.

This toy picecs do not go together. The 17step directions are simple its the pieces that don't go together properly. It makes hard to assemble Ikea type furniture look like childs play. And after several well educated adult attempts the conclusion is the TOY was poorly made. And a WASTE of money. Furthermore I feel that if the WWE is going to produce Series sized wrestlers the should also produce Series sized Rings. This ring is entirely to big for the 25+ Wrestlers we have.

this ring is the best that jakkspacific has ever made. when the figures hit the mat, the mat as a whole bounces. it is smaller than the hardcore action ring. the box says that it works with the wwe ring gear. these are the things that it does NOT work with. the ring skirts don't work neither does the rage in the cage. the tunbuckles work, but raise the ropes up about half an inch. i got the ring after it was shown at a toy fair in new york a while ago, so i have had it for a while. i got it even before it hit stores. it has held up. it is very durable compared to other rings and toys. it is a little hard to put together, now dont get me wrong, it didnt take an hour, it only took about 15 min.. i totally reconmend this toy.

My son is getting this for Christmas from his Aunt. I don't actually have the product yet, but another large toy chain stores website had some reviews that states that the "real working videotron" is just a piece of cardboard. Now there is a pretty big price difference between that sites [...] and this site's [...] but the product images are exactly the same. I'm thinking it is the same product. I knew nothing about the videotron supposedly working, so I'm not disappointed, but I just wanted everyone to be aware of what they are buying. I suggest shopping around before making your purchase.

This is a fun cake topper. The set includes two wrestlers and a ring. The wrestlers look like they might be hard to get to stand and the feet/base are smaller. If they have trouble standing, you can have one wrestler pinning the other. The arms and heads do move. Be creative, have fun and you will have a professional looking cake.

My son absolutely LOVES this ring! It has ropes for the wrestlers to bounce off of, and the mat allows the wrestlers to bounce back up as well. The only problem with this toy is that I have had to buy 4 of them because the posts keep breaking. A couple of times, I think my son actually tripped over it, causing them to break, but at least 1 time it broke from play. Overall, a great toy for any young wrestling fan.

It's not just for the young WWE fans, I'm 19 yrs old and I love it. I bought it at Toys R us at times square, NY.

Its very durable. De ringposts/turnbuckles DONT BREAK! Theyre very strong. I have the ropes tight, but not too tight, cus then the ringposts/turnbuckles WILL bent. But if you just have the ropes just as tight as neceserally it will do just fine.

The thing i love about it is the mat! figures dont really bounce off like Jakks promises, but who cares? It bounces a little bit, very realistic, just like in the real WWE. So its great.

Note: the 2 black ropes are for the bouncy-ness of the mat, while the red/blue/white ones are for the ropes.

The stickers of the turnbuckles (WWE logo's) don't come off, they stay in place great.

Overall: It's definitely worth your money! I mean it's like 15 dollars, who cares?
Or do you want to spend them 15 bucks on the birthday present of your mother in law? Bleh!

If you have patience you will enjoy this toy. You need two people to put it togeather. One to hold the peaces that are on and one to put on the next peice. It comes with four laders. Two are the kind that if you touch a button it will go off balance and tip over, Another is you put the feet in the loops and pull down on the lever lthe wrestler will climb up the lader. The last one is that there is a thing that you flip at the top. The laders are as tall as the superstars. It comes with two superstars Rob Van Dam and Shelton Benjamin. In the brief case there is a plasic sheet that has the word contract on it. It also has two thick green pieces of plastic with the dollor sighn on it.

I bought this ring used and it came with seven used action figures. It was in decent condition. It doesn't look as neat as in the picture because, even if you buy it new, the only way to attach the ropes is to tie them and the knots are visible. My son doesn't have any complaints about the knots. But, the ring also comes with surrounding pieces that resemble the mats on the outside of the ring and those do not work at all. The company should re-design them to make them fit better to stay without constantly coming unattached. Other than that, it was a good price for the ring. I would not have purchased a new one at the current new price listings.
